The Taylorsville 4th of July Silver Buckle Rodeo was established in 1949 and brings the town of Taylorsville alive each Independence Day. The celebration starts early with a pancake breakfast and parade in downtown Taylorsville and then moves to the rodeo grounds for an afternoon of home-town rodeo entertainment. The Pancake Breakfast begins at 7:00 am at the Indian Valley Museum. The 4th of July Parade kicks off at 10:00 am and the Grand Entry of the Silver Buckle Rodeo is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
You can enjoy the action of the 66th Annual CCPRA rodeo by purchasing either Shaded Grandstand or General Bleacher wristbands. The Shaded Grandstand wristbands are $15 each and offer the benefit of shaded seating. Seating in the Shaded Grandstands will be first come, first serve. No reserved seating. General Bleacher tickets will also be first come, first serve at the rate of $7 adult and $3 for children 12 and under. All wristbands can be purchased at the Beer Booth starting on June 30th or at the gate on the day of the rodeo.
